DOWNTOWN NIGHTS, UPTOWN JAZZ, will be held on July 30th, 2010 from 8 to 11 PM at STUDIO 99, 115 Main Street, Nashua, NH.
Friends and supporters of the arts in Nashua are invited to enjoy an evening of great jazz, hors d’oeuvres, wine and chocolate, and to participate in a silent auction.
Music will be provided by the Ben Geyer Jazz ensemble. The auction will feature artworks and services donated by local merchants and artists from the community. Proceeds from the event will directly support this year’s ARTWALK being held on October 2nd and 3rd, 2010.
“We wanted to create an event that will be an entertaining summer evening out” says Hogan. CAN is reaching out to Nashua to help support the largest arts event held in the city. “In an era of tight resources we thought this event would be the most creative way to raise the revenue we need for ARTWALK”
The goal of DOWNTOWN NIGHTS, UPTOWN JAZZ event is to raise funds, entertain CAN supporters and promote local arts. Bonnie Guercio CAN board member and co-chair of the 2010 Artwalk said “This year we are planning an expanded program for the Artwalk and this fundraising event is key to our success”.
